Block Paving Cleaning

The refurbishment of Block paving is usually done in 4 stages -

Stage 1: The block paved area is first sprayed with fungicidal wash to eradicate any fungal spores, algae and weed growth.

Stage 2: The area is pressure washed using a high powered rotary headed cleaner to remove any weeds, algae and dirt that may be present on the surface. Oil and grease stains are also be treated and removed at this stage.

Stage 3: Once the area has completely dried off. Pure kiln dried sand is then swept into the joints between the pavers to stop movement.

Stage 4: Smartseal block paving sealer is then sprayed onto the block paving to protect the surface from any weed growth and to help retain the colour.

*We normally apply two coats of block paving sealer to ensure each individual block and jointing sand is completely saturated to give the best protection.
